About Us
Lakewood Lodge is a charitable, non-profit corporation facility which was founded by Reverend and Mrs. Albert Earle who were involved in full-time ministry for over 60 years. Upon retiring to Maine in the late '70's, the Earles saw the need for a facility that would primarily serve Bible-believing churches and individuals for Christian-related activities.
Lakewood Lodge (the new name for the Christian Fellowship and Renewal Center) was constructed in 1991 to meet this need. The facility has been used by various Christian denominations from Maine to Alabama. Among the events we host are singles' retreats, women's groups and men's groups, couples retreats, church outings, seminars and conferences, church summer camps, family reunions, rest and renewal for ministers, missionaries and individuals. It has been our desire to provide a comfortable, multifunctional facility at a very affordable cost.
Recreation & Activities:
Spring and Summer - swimming (sandy Beach, spring-fed lake), softball field, volley ball, ping pong, pool table,
fishing (Maine fishing license required),hiking, outdoor basketball court, horseshoes
Winter - ice skating, cross-country skiing
